Mankind is no island Welcome IB DP Language A students from the two cities of New York and Lahore! :) Here's a Tropfest Short Film Festival Winner of 2008, Mankind is no Island, that both Mrs DiSiena and I felt would be perfect to get our blog rolling. Please watch the video and reflect on the following questions: In thinking about the power of words, how does a video such as this influence your thinking?  Are there certain words that have more power than others?  Explain. Why are we here? Why do we need to do this? Why does this even matter? This is a question that is going to be central to all our conversations on this blog.  As readers, writers of this 'text', our 'why' precedes our 'how'. What's your why? Decide and share.
